Unique and luxurious coat in a beautiful oatmeal shade featuring long sleeves, a sophisticated round collar, front button fastening and capatious side pockets. The coat has two different tags that show its creation process: the first one, Ballarini, is an Italian textile brand from Piedmont founded in 1941, which in all likelihood created the coat’s model; Loro Piana, on the other hand, was founded in 1924 and carved a reputation for high-quality fashion woollen fabrics and drapery. This luxury brand provided the incredible pure worsted (a softer, smoother and stronger wool that better keeps out rain and wind) that the coat is made of. Therefore, this coat appears to be the perfect combination of two high quality traditional Italian brands that worked together to create this fine and exclusive vintage gem. Material of the outer shell is 100% pure worsted and lining is 100% cupro.
Please note that the coat has been modified by the previous owner, who moved the position of the buttons from one side to the other; this, however, does not affect the functionality of the coat in any way. Great vintage conditions.
