Splendid wrap coat by Max Mara in a beautiful caramel shade featuring long sleeves, dropped shoulders, round collar, front button fastening and capatious front pockets. The coat comes from my personal collection and was purchased secondhand by someone who was working for the Max Mara group; this piece is, in all likelihood, a sample, given the fact that a label with the composition is missing and the brand’s tag is different from the classic ones. It has been kept in amazing conditions and periodically washed professionally. This coat is such a luxurious and timeless piece that is meant to be kept and used for a lifetime, always maintaining its beauty thanks to the amazing quality of the fabric and the level of craftsmanship used to make it. Material is not listed but considering similar models and the softness and warmth of the fabric, it appears to be a woollen and angora blend. Please note that a tiny spot where the thread has loosen up is present on the left sleeve, as shown in pictures 11-12. This small imperfection is not visible at all once the coat is worn and other than that, it is in pristine conditions.
