Rare and gorgeous Christian Dior vintage silk blouse featuring long sleeves, pointed collar and buttoned cuffs. This luxurious and unique vintage shirt is fashioned from a lightweight silk fabric with a pied-de-poule pattern and presents a straight hem and small black and white buttons. The label quotes: "Christian Dior-Bergdorf Goodman on the Plaza New York" (see pictures 12-13). Bergdorf Goodman is a legendary luxury department store based on Fifth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, founded in 1899 and favorite shopping destination for style icons from the past like Grace Kelly, Greta Garbo, Marlene Dietrich, Jackie Kennedy and, today, Beyoncè and Sarah Jessica Parker.
Material is 100% silk, incredibly soft and high quality. Please note that, due to usage and to the vintage nature of this piece, the color of the area around the collar has slightly faded (as shown in pictures 5-6) and a tiny spot is present on the right arm (see pictures 7-8). This, however, does not affect the funtionality of the blouse in any way and are hardly noticeable once worn.
