Pleated Velvet Skirt by La Perla

Romantic and timeless bluish-gray pleated wrap-up skirt featuring side button fastening and capatious side pockets. This very feminine and unique piece is by La Perla, a traditional Italian luxury lifestyle company founded by couturière Ada Masotti in Bologna (town renowned for its solid tradition of silk factories and textile manufacturers), in 1954. In the beginning of her carreer, Ada used her talent as a skilled corset maker to create works of art enhancing feminine beauty and she was given the nickname "golden scissors" for her exacting cutting and tailoring abilities. La Perla is also one of few historical fashion houses with a woman founder!

Material is 98% cotton and 2% elastan, made in Italy.
